Unique Programme
The students of AFNORTH International Middle/High School work towards
their Ontario High school diploma in a strong academic setting that allows them
to pursue their goals in an atmosphere of personal well-being and global
citizenship.
In keeping with our mandate to integrate internationalism in their learning
environment, our students study with young people from a variety of countries,
pursuing credits offered by teachers from both Canada and the United States.
Middle School students receive the necessary preparation to continue on in
either Canadian or American High Schools.
While Canadian High School
students earn an Ontario diploma that prepares them for entry into Colleges and
Universities world-wide, many International students also pursue the Ontario
diploma, allowing them to continue in their post-secondary studies both in their
home country and in North America.
In addition to a strong Second
Language French program, First Language French students receive separate
enriched courses that allow them to return to studies in Quebec, should they do
so.
Our students benefit from a
strong extra-curricular program consisting of a wide variety of sports teams,
clubs, and activities. The relatively small school population enables all
students to find something for each of them and participate whole-heartedly.
These offerings are enriched by a number of school outings and field-trips, both
within Holland and to other European countries.
We are very proud of the
success and personal growth that our students attain each year.
